Cheryl eve was born in Mayagues, Puerto Rico. She came to the US to pursue her BFA in Jewelry and Metals at New Mexico State University. She found her voice as an artist by making jewelry. Her passion and dedication encouraged her to continue her MFA at Rhode Island School of Design graduating in 2009. She wants to continue her career as an artist, educator and designer nationally and internationally.
