About the Creator
Illustrator Cory Levy was born and raised in Sayville, NY. Viewing his artwork is like stepping into a lucid dream. With inspiration from surrealist painters Salvador Dali and H.R Giger, the technical precision used in his work make it relate-able to reality. However, by depicting abstracted subject matter and environments he creates a new perspective of our world. His pieces have placed in competitions such as the Long Island’s Best sponsored by the Heckscher Museum in Huntington, NY, the Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts and National Society of High School Scholars. He’s been trained in automotive design by the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan and in 2-D animation by Pratt University in Brooklyn, NY. He is currently studying for a BFA of Illustration at the School for Visual Arts in NYC.
