About the Book
This Photo journal tells the story of light and shadow being the building blocks that make up all photographs. Whether snapped on the simplest camera or crafted in the finest professional model, all photographs are created with light and shadow.
Abstract refers to picture-making at its most relaxed-unconcerned state. Here the author allows himself to be himself. It is photography where the author satisfies his own visual curiosity and his imagination where the light leads him.
Follow the author through his photographs capturing the mixed messages of urban decay, toying with optical effects or create still lifes, enjoy movement of light and shadow or find patterns in chaos.

I'm an autodidact amateur photographer. After many years of compact camera usage I got my first Digital SLR in late 2007 and been shooting photographs ever since. The opportunity to venture out with nothing more but what the world has to offer and my camera interests me the most in taking photographs. I am mainly into landscape and architecture photography.
