Gelendzhik, a sea resort at the Russian Black Sea coast, is the home of the Beriev Aircraft Company's seaplane test base.
Every two years it is hosting the International Exhibition of Hydroaviation, better known as: "Gidroaviasalon Gelendzhik"

In this book full of vivid and action-packed pictures, renown aviation photographer Reto Schneeberger brings back the most memorable and beautiful moments of the air displays of Gidroaviasalon 2008.

The book contains 80 pages with over 90 very unique and rare, full-color pictures, including the big Beriev amphibious jets Be-200 and A-42 in full action, as well as the famous "Strizhi" (Swifts) and "Russkie Vityazi" (Russian Knights) jet demonstration teams of the Russian Air Force, and other airplanes and helicopters.
