About the Book
After constructing a 1:5 scale clay model of a 2022 Dodge Demon-concept in 2016, DRIVE One Automotive Design Student Miranda Rumfelt went in a different direction in 2017, bringing-back a classic for a new generation with her interpretation of a 2017 Pontiac Trans Am Concept.
This photo book documents Rumfelt's design process: from basic side-profiles of an original 1977 Trans Am and a 2015 Chevy Camaro, to a truly-unique scaled concept vehicle that captured a State Championship against 503 other student-built projects from across the State of Michigan.
This book serves as an example for both a terrific portfolio piece, & a way to kickstart a unique program like DRIVE in your own school district or non-profit.
