About the Book
A memoir of growing up after WWII in a small farming community in Michigan. The author's father was a Danish immigrant arriving in the late 1920s. His mother's family has been in America since 1720. Theirs was a May-December romance and life on the dairy was always interesting as the Cold War deepened and the Sixties beckoned. Illustrated with over 80 archival photographs. A personal and sometimes amusing story.
