This book is a memoir of my first 11 years, a period I lived on Sefton Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland in a large extended Italian, Catholic family of recent immigrants.

About the Author

Gary Grelli

This book is a memoir of childhood on Sefton Avenue in the Hamilton neighborhood in Baltimore, Maryland. It covers the magical time of early childhood in the 1950s in an Italian immigrant family. My experiences growing up in a Catholic school system are also chronicled.
The book ends when the family joins the post-WWII migration to the new suburbs that were springing up all over the United States.
