About the Book
Irene De Marco starts taking photos in high school. Her first subjects are mountains, but she soon moves to photograph strangers on the street.
Growing up she keeps putting the human being at the centre of the photos, but the attention goes to musicians and bands in their natural habit: concerts. After a few year of collaborating with different Italian and British magazines, she starts in 2017 her first photography course at the Kensington and Chelsea College in London.
Here, she gave birth to the idea of Through the window, an intimate series of photographies portraying the fragility human beings show when they think they are not seen.
