About the Book
This portfolio highlights some of the artist's most dynamic abstract work. Described as being primitive yet contemporary, Castro's paintings convey a sense of his Pacific cultural background. Additional samples of early works illustrate the artist's transition towards abstract expressionism with a short essay by Professor Jose Babauta, MFA.
