Moments in Time
by Pauline Yen Ho
About the Book
Pauline wrote this book of essays after retiring from a successful career in pharmaceuticals management. It is an unconventional memoir, with each essay telling a different moment of her life in three countries: Hong Kong, Brazil and United States.
Pauline Yen Ho was born in the United States to Chinese parents, raised in Hong Kong and Brazil, and educated in Brazil and US, making her as she calls it a citizen of the world. She retired from Johnson & Johnson in 2010 after over 37 years of service, where she was an accomplished senior executive in pharmaceuticals with proven leadership in driving superior business results. She was an executive trailblazer, one of the first emerging market executives to run a global franchise VP for a multi-billion dollars product, and was widely recognized for her passion to mentor and develop talent around the world. As a happy grandmother, Pauline lives in Bridgewater, New Jersey with her husband Alex and daughter Tatiana, and spends her time writing, reading, cooking, knitting, singing in the church choir, but most of all enjoying time with her beloved family, especially her three little granddaughters.
