The series Mérida. Trapped in time presents an interesting perspective about these considerations that we often leave aside, confronting the complex node of space-time relationships that corrode the reality of our cities in the present. Time in these units is no longer lineal, complex and willful. Time with no end and no beginning is no longer an exhausting race to perform but a smooth texture we must be able to receive. Time, and therefore the life that the photographer has wanted to show us, becomes in this series constant fluctuation and simplicity, endless rebounding where the wide and the intimate braid, through reflections that just twist and draw its vital way, among the large extensions, the street labyrinths and the humidity of the look.
