About the Book
"art school". My journey through art school is what this book is about. Photographs in black and white from film taken during my third attempt at completeing the diploma course. I started photography shortly after my arrival in Hunter St in 1975. I did not expect to do photography but once I started every roll was an experiment. The photographs are of the everyday life at school, my fellow students and the teachers. This book is also a reaction to the demise of the University of Newcastle fine art program, as it has been discontinued.
