martincv - Thanks for the compliment! I was really pleased with how it all came out. I'm a graphic designer and illustrated the background pattern as well as the "medallion" and whisk. However, if you're not a designer there are plenty of sites out there where you can download similar images. I sometimes use istockphoto.com and search under their "illustration" tab for patterns and other illustrations. Goodluck!

robert, first thing i did was collaborated with my grandma and other family members and chose the essential recipes to go in the book. made sure there was a good amount of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. then typed them all out in word and sent out to a few people to help me proofread. then jumped on book smart and started designing the book.
