JAMBOREE 2007
Sculptures of time
Victor Tort
Photographer
I had the dream to go to a world Jamboree and do nothing but do what I love most: take pictures. I travel for twenty-four days with two digital cameras, four lenses and a beautiful Pentax 67II Medium Format Camera, and believe me, was far from easy.
Starting sometimes at 5:30 I went and shoot. The results, well I think of myself of an artist, so this first book of a series of three is full with beautiful images. All in black and white, many are from film, the rest from digital cameras. Some are panoramic shoots made from many digital frames, fixed to produce a final composite.
Unfortunately the images that you can see in the blurb are just from the first pages: pages full with my travel experience in the UK. From there, the book contains another 340 pages full with images from every activity: water, service, cultural, fun, trading, camping, ceremonies, Gilwell, and many more.
Every part of the Jamboree is covered and the images are fantastic.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me at jamboree@exceedphoto.com.
