A small essay on a period of my life brought into abstract terms by photographic reference to trees and woods. The idea of image as metaphor for thought and feeling.
A testament to depression and its transfigurement of outlook.

Began as a painter (and still wannabe).. started photographing at 21. Still growing..in fact I am better now than I was.. which makes me very happy! I worked as a stock photographer, press and portrait photographer before working for UK Customs as one of only 4 HMRC Photographic Officers.. shooting crime and forensic stuff.. and lots of other things too! My creative outlet comes from self propelled projects and my wedding and portrait work.. Blurb has given me a window on a project at long last.. so thanks!!
