Through the photos in this book, the story of the valleys will be told through archival images, and photos from today. Depicting the land left behind, trying to decipher the location in which the Welsh peoples spirits truly lie.

Jake Saville
London
Jake is a Documentary Photographer based in London. Jake's background in photography stems to 5 years of study and extends to knowledge of the sociological and geographical fields. With a degree in photojournalism and documentary photography at University of the Arts London. His repertoire includes mainly documentary focused landscape photography. Jake has also explored candid celebrity portraiture, which has been used by several print and digital publications. Additionally, Jake created footage and was credited in the multi-award-winning documentary feature film 'Belonging: The Truth Behind the Headlines' - a film by Morag Livingstone of Livingstone media.
