About the Book
Darkness has a way of bringing a scene to life better than it would during the day. At night, a camera can record things that we can’t see with the naked eye. It’s popular to think that because of the lack of light, colors aren’t present or they’re hard to capture in camera. Personally, it helps me to find sources of light and use it creatively. Finding ordinary spaces that metaphor into magical scenes once daylight leaves has helped me to see things in a new perspective, whether it’s using long exposures to create moody images, or artificial lights for abstract concepts.
