About the Book
In the fall of 2003, Dr Zen was asked to list five things he would do if he won the lottery. He replied, "Buy a house, go to China, live a life of leisure, create something of value, relieve those I care about of some of their cares."
It didn't take winning the lottery, and in the fall of 2006 he made one of his wishes come true.
"I will dream of one day standing in Changsha, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Nanjing and, yes, Dalian and making those names real. I never picture the places, ... but the names, the beautiful names. .. what they could be hiding, what they could represent."
This is the story of what he discovered when he finally stood in those places.
