About the Book
Alone in an empty resteraunt, ordering too much bad coffee, and having an itchy shutter finger has led to the creation of One Cream, Two Sugars, a poetry book 12 years in the making.
From the vision and pen of Sarah McTernen, this book fuses soulful words with thought provoking images of the everyday world.

With a keen eye for subtlety, Sarah McTernen captures the everyday objects of day to day life through the lens of her camera and transports them from mundane to marvelous. She has stood behind her camera for fifteen years, shooting subjects from the beautiful landscapes of Western Washington to the not-always-beautiful objects of coffee house denizens. Her skill at capturing the essence of her subject has won her praise. In 2005 she opened Ardent Photography to share her gift with the people of Western Washington. If a photograph is worth a thousand words, then I have my work cut out for me when it comes to my poetry and my fiction. I have been writing since I was seven with one children's book finished along with a compilation of poems that stand out in front of a myriad of novels in various stages of completion and a second poetry compilation. I am also a fan of the culinary arts. Watch for a recipe book with dynamic photographs to make its way into the book stores.
