This book is an assemblage of Robinson's work consisting of thirty two serene and tranquil images of Port Aransas on Mustang Island along the Texas Gulf Coast. While viewing the images, one can almost hear the waves breaking on the beach and the sea gulls flying overhead, swooping down all around. It is as if you can feel the warm gulf breeze as you turn the pages. There is a seductive rhythm in the constant breaking of the waves. Void of people, her images reveal the ebb and flow of nature with a few exposing the manmade influence present in this place. Robinson has succeeded in creating a sense of calm and meditation through the reflection of the collection of these photographs.
