About the Book
This premier issue of Dead Tree in the Moonlight magazine is focused on the fusion of photography and Haiku poetry. The visual stories are not so much linear as deep rooted in the collective unconscious. I've tried to paint stories using a palette of non-linear images, words and phrases .

My passion for photography started back in the late 1980's on film. I really enjoyed doing it but, to be honest, it was mostly just playing around stuff. I made the switch to digital photography around 2002 and my passion really started to grow. There was so much more you could do creatively with the digital medium without spending a fortune on the learning curve. My goal is to tell interesting stories through light, emotion, and allegory. I am trying the self-publishing route to see if I can get others as passionate about the reality I see as I am.
