Your book is elegant, and the Mono Lake panoramic images outstanding. I was there 2 weeks ago for a walk around book - I can actually see the changes since your visit and mine.

I have seen many travel books with exquisite pictures such as in this one, but more than any other place in the US, I now want to go to Bodie. California is a long ways away. Are there legends of lost gold -- with some passing historical validity -- that I might interest a gullible nephew in? You have my vote but only a 5% finders fee on the gold -- though I guess at a Historic State Park there is a rule that you can't take the buried gold with you. :0)

The photographs are incredibly beautiful and are very professional. This book would make a wonderful present. Mr. Parmelee is very talented and I look forward to seeing more of his work!
