One painting and one small story for each of the first thirty years of my life, starting in 1942. It includes discussions of sex, sibling rivalry, Catholic influence, Vietnam war resistance, gay revelations, family splits.
Started in St. Louis, built furniture.
Moved to Maine, built houses and sculpture.
Moved to Colorado, built sculpture, books, and painting.
Moved to New Mexico, built all of the above.
That’s the rough outline. There were children, lovers, civil disobedience, tragedy, international travel, destitution, laziness, graduate fine arts, war zones, grandchildren, and old age interspersed along the way.
