My family has always been inspired by the movie Alice in Wonderland. We constantly sing the songs and quote the lines.
We had our own Golden Afternoon, as the flowers in the movie sang, at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, where we had a picnic and passed around a camera.

Jo Anne learned the rules of photography at San Jose State University and continues to break them.
In addition to photography, Jo Anne experiments with collage, animation, mixed media, altered dolls, painting, and non-sappy crafting. She has shown her work in San Francisco, San Jose, and Fresno, and loves to share creativity with others.
Her influences include Camille Rose Garcia, Liz McGrath, and Tim Burton among others. Her work can be considered dark and unusual, and somewhat surreal.
