This is the story of Maddie and Splotchy, two tiny kittens tossed out on a busy street in Austin, TX.
Their pictures help me describe the unfathomable hardness of heart it takes to throw away two tiny little creatures in the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

Terrific book! Exact tale of my "Mikey" -- someone rescued him at about 5 weeks old on a Houston city street. He's a black kitty too! He's a little over two years old now and we adore him!
