As she worked and photographed women, a book idea started to take shape in her mind. She felt she could reveal the essence of women through photographs and interviews. Isabelle wanted this book to represent a global view of women and the complexities they face at this point in history. Woman is meant to uplift the spirit, make us laugh, and help us feel less lonely on the journey we all share.
Uplifting, funny, sad, true, all those different feelings are wrapped around beautiful pictures and stories of women. Cry, laugh, and hope, as you find yourself in the stories of others. This book is filled with photographs, quotes and tales of extraordinary real women.

An awesome book, I wish now that I had seen this book while the voting was still in process. Your book made me 'grab' some air in and hold back a tear on a few occassions. My favourite page was the one with the five generations from one family - AWESOME! Imagine that.
