Mark Laubenheimer wants to show you a philosophy of simplicity, of un-retouched beauty. Life need not be complex or made up. One doesn’t alter a Picasso to “improve” it; we don’t alter the beauty of sunsets to enjoy them. Likewise, Mark’s portraits are works of art and beauty precisely because they are completely unaltered.

This is a beautiful book supporting beautiful women in the natural light that we all live in. From headshots, profiles, and full body shots, Mark does show that behind the photoshopped world that we live in, there are still gems in the raw.
