About the Book
Most parents of small children have probably had the experience of their young child bringing them an insect or frog or some other critter that they've caught and heard them ask, "What kind of animal is this?" This book is for those parents. The author decided to begin taking portraits of the critters that his kids brought to him.
"Look at What I Caught!" has more than sixty high quality, close up photos of frogs, toads, insects, spiders, millipedes, ticks, fish, and snakes in it. Most of the creatures were all captured by the author's kids over the course of a summer. The diversity of wildlife that the kids captured is amazing.
Perhaps your kids will bring you a Speckled Sharpshooter- and if they do- you will be able to identify it for them.
