With SEASIDE PORTFOLIO: BOURNEMOUTH TO DARTMOUTH, Michael Hallett challenges the concept of image making with the iconographic imagery he calls the ‘photo construction’. It was a sense of extreme frustration that led to his intellectual pursuit of how to extend the boundaries of time and space that a single exposure, single viewpoint photograph was unable to offer. I love the idea of using the photo collage rather than the traditional single shot, you look at the photo at greater length. Great shots. Would love to know are they physically stuck down then photographed or placed together in photoshop to create a single photo?
