Colorful dioramas fill the pages with descriptions to show highlights from Jacksonville's historic past and where to go to experience this first hand. The middle of the book is a time-line on Jax history, beginning with the Timucuan Indians all the way through the 20th century, supported by images and stories to illustrate these events. The end of the book is full of web site, museum, parks and living history resources along with a favorite field trip guide!
