About the Book
A brief time shared with a beautiful Japanese girl in a stunning kimono as she casually makes her way home on a warm July evening in Osaka, Japan. (2007)
I've been taking photos for 17 years. I teach ESL and photography. I've lived in Japan for 2 years and have traveled to the Netherlands, Mexico, South Korea, Guatemala and throughout much of the United States. I work with both film and digital, working in my darkroom as well as on my laptop. I tend to gravitate towards the street, though enjoy getting lost in nature. I see the world as a duality of black/white and color, each with its own perspective. I have a large body of work that I'm slowly putting together. I hope to have my own cultural center with a cafe/gallery/lounge in the future where people can come together to learn about different parts of the world through music, dance, food/drink and art.
