This book is the result of 15 years of photographing birds and marine life in places as far away as Fiji and Papua New Guinea, and as close as our own backyard.
Many of the photos have appeared in articles that I have written for diving and travel magazines. A number have appeared on magazine covers and/or won awards in international photo competitions.
The book contains 100 pages and more than 180 images.
Glenn Ostle has been taking photographs much of his life but became interested in underwater and wildlife photography about 15 years ago. Since then his photos of marine life, birds and other animals—taken in many locations around the world and with the assistance of his partner, Pam Hadfield—have won numerous awards in photo competitions and appeared in magazines, trade show displays, on calendars and in marketing pieces. For several years his photos were on display at Charlotte Douglas Airport in Charlotte, North Carolina. Glenn combines his photographic skills with a writing ability honed through more than 30 years in marketing and advertising. He is currently editor of Paper360, a trade publication for the pulp and paper industry, and until recently was also department editor of Times of the Islands magazine published out of Sanibel Island, Florida. His photos and/or articles have appeared in a number of dive and travel magazines.
