This is my grandfathers life story as he wrote it in 1990 , it isn't very long, and he glossed over a lot of events being a non assuming sort of bloke he took a lot of what he did for granted.

He was a great one for telling yarns, many of them could have been included, these are mainly the ones he hadn't told before.

I started transcribing this as the only copies we had were paper based and they were getting tattered and were fading. It is as he wrote it, complete with capitalisations, I can hear his voice while I read.

I hope this does him justice and that you may gain an insight into the man I knew.
