About the Book
Some of my railway photographs from over the last few years. Taken using both medium format film/infrared film and digital/digital infrared.
An interest in railways started from a very young age, which left a desire to be a driver on the freight side of the railways until diabetes whould not allow this to happen.
I like my photography not to be "just" about the train but the scene, the landscape, the enviroment in which the railway is in, the functions of the camera.
A college photography course taught me to look outside the box and look at the picture rather then the first point you see. Photographers such as Colin Gifford and O Winston Link have been a great influence and inspiration.
Hope you enjoy the book.

Interested in photography for the past 20+ years. A college A level photography course helped make me look past the just a nice picture. My photography is mainly landscape and rail, but I do look at other things to photograph. I do like water, I find it relaxing, calming but also powerful and interesting, and adding a lot to a scene so use it when I can.
