Out of frustration with the war in Iraq emerged an installation of glass grenades: bombs as gifts. They're all impractical, ornate and extremely fragile "gift boxes". When you remove the pin holding the bow in place, each glass grenade has a bullet shaped interior storage space ready to hold a gift that may not be seen as a gift.
The pieces are all named after military operations in Iraq. This book documents the pieces and gives a brief description of the military operations they were named after.
