Emily Chang is a fifth grader in Norwood, NJ. Her first novel Divorce...Or Not? expresses a girl's feeling very well over her parents' divorce. Her second novel Laurie's Wish is a touching story on friendship between two girls. The conclusions of both novels are brilliant for a fifth grader.
Emily Chang lives in Norwood, NJ with her parents and her younger sister, Claire. She has written four novels in her young writing career. In fact, 10 Things About Summer is her fourth. Currently, she has graduated from Norwood Public School (middle school) and plans to proceed on to her freshman year at the Bergen Academies as part of the Academy of Business and Finance. During her years at NPS, Emily has participated in a number of programs, including TAG (Talented and Gifted), the Academic Pentathalon, Olympics of the Mind, as well as many other Northern Valley events. Aside from this, she is part of Student Council and works with her team to accomplish charity and service. In her free time, Emily plays violin and golf and attends weekly Chinese lessons. She hopes to continue her passion for writing in the years to come.
