The Heart Says is, in essence, a journey... a mission which photographer Daniel Rarela undertook in order to see what would happen if people were allowed the opportunity to bare their souls, and have the world see it through his eyes. What you will see here is an intimate look at the 19 people he found along the way; their grief, their glee, and beliefs on how life is (and ought to be). With nothing but a shirt, a little black paint, and the sincerity of their hearts to guide them, each message from each model stares at you straight in the face, and dares you not to believe that what you’re seeing is the raw truth of what their heart is saying.
