About the Book
This book is dedicated to the memory of my mother, Billie Galloway Worley.
She grew up on a farm in the depression and managed to create a meal out of very little when she was first married. This lack of food created a great desire in her to be a good cook and to make sure that her family was always well fed. She was an avid gardener and spent the entire summer storing what she grew for the winter. Her recipe collection grew through the years and this book is just a sampling of the great recipes that she used and developed over her lifetime.
