About the Book
These are the photographs of the stories from my two years living in Uganda and my travels throughout the rest of east Africa. I found it difficult to capture the life I found on my adventures. It is hard to make pictures tell the story of the sounds, smells, and endless laughter that I heard in my day to day life. But I do think that these pictures show the beauty of a place and the people that I grew to love deeply. It is my hope that you enjoy these pictures of a life so different than our own, and that you too are able to see beauty in the people around you.
