Capture your memories in a customized book! Creating and publishing a book on your own can be INTIMIDATING, TIME CONSUMING and REQUIRE INSPIRATION that you may not have at the moment. Need an editor, proof reader or designer? I can help. I am a published photographer and writer with a wide range of interests.
I have helped design and publish many different types and styles of books, from children's books, wedding albums, personal memoirs, travel journals, blog books, and art portfolios. Currently my wife and I am working on a Blog book recalling a courageous battle with cancer, a wounded Gulf War veteran's book of photos from his time in the Middle East, and an English/Spanish story written by a Connecticut teacher for her students.
I am an exclusive photographer for www.istockphoto.com, and have been the website manager for the 200 member Parker Artists Guild (http://parkerartistsguild.com) for two years. An authorized bookmaker for Blurbnation.com since 2007.
Areas of Expertise
Editing and/or proofreading. Blurb Book design. Editing, scanning and sizing photographs. I am a biologist and was a Marketing and Technical Services Manager and International Project Manager (Korea, China & Thailand). I also lived in southern Africa for 25 years. I photograph fine art for artists and write about the community for the local newspaper. My wife, Jan, an experienced executive secretary and teacher, proofs, edits and formats your text with a deft hand.
