About Book
Virtual Women
The artwork created in this book was created using three dimensional wireframe models assembled in a virtual world. Many of the models I used in this book were acquired from model makers who sell their creations on-line or offer them free of charge. Thanks to them for making their work available to me.
First I morph the base model by changing the model parameters until I achieve the body shape and facial expression I desire. Next I add the skin color to achieve the desired look needed for each model. To accomplish this, computer software is used to assign the skin textures to individual parts of each model, creating life like results. After I am satisfied with the look of each model, I arrange them in my virtual world. Finally I select my point of view and desired lighting effects to create the finished scene. The scene is then rendered using software tools that capture a two dimensional image that can be printed on paper.
Many different computer software programs are available for use today. I used Bryce, DAZ Studio and Poser for the renderings in this book. Bryce and DAZ Studio are available at:
http://www.DAZ3D.com
and Poser is available at:
http://www.e-frontier.com
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed creating it.
