Charles Berger

About

The photographs of Charles Berger have been exhibited
world-wide, including the Smithsonian Institution,
and are in the Permanent Photographic Collection of
The Museum of Modern Art (New York). His books
Image Tibet (1973) and Flamenco Gitano (1975),
were ground breaking documents of visual anthropology
which used creative photographic techniques to
convey ethnographically sophisticated information. In
1991, he developed the UltraStable color process, the
gold standard for fine art photographic printmaking.
Legends of The Spirit Trees was photographed
close to home in Santa Cruz County, California.
