3CROSSES A Look Behind The Scenes

This Christmas and New Year in Yorkshire was spent directly after completing post production on a docudrama for Sky One and also after completing the shoot for
'A Maverick In London' at the King's Head Theatre - a film which was acquired by Sky TV for airing on Sky Artsworld .

Some preliminary shoots for 3CROSSES had already been filmed in Vermont in the USA and most of the main cast had been assembled in readiness for the main shoots beginning early in 2005.

A great deal of the back story for Maria's 'Gypsy' character was developed while in Yorkshire over Christmas and New Year. This was to be in readiness for the first filming on return to Dublin, scenes which were concentrated intensively on the relationship between Manton's 'Gypsy' and Emmett J. Scanlan's 'Jonnie Linski'.
