About Book
He dropped me off at the metro station with just enough rupees to get back to the hotel.
However when I look back on his effort in peddling that cycle and what value I had in what he showed me that I would not have found myself, I just have to smile. This becomes a recurring issue for many in India I think. Finding that balance between not getting ripped off as a tourist and encouraging overpricing, and giving a good amount for a great service and realising how much more five or ten dollars of our money can buy for them.
He dropped me off at the metro station with just enough rupees to get back to the hotel. After experiencing the fun and craziness of taxi, auto-rickshaw and cycle rickshaw, I found that the new metro in Delhi is actually the cheapest, cleanest and fastest way to get around.
