About the Book
"genius loci" is Albert's second book of poetry and prose. It was inspired by a stranger (Ofas) he had met on the Toronto airport Terminal Link train in 2015. Seven years prior, Ofas had met the love of his life (Gallus) on an internet dating site. Every second month Ofas would fly to Vancouver to see Gallus and Gallus would fly to Toronto in the opposing months. Unbeknownst to Gallus, today Ofas retired and was planning to ask her to marry him. Unbeknownst to Ofas, Gallus was carrying the engagement ring.
