Emma Culbert is a native-born Northern Minnesotan. She's spent many years in the performing arts and only recently began trying her hand at children's books.

She finds most of her inspiration from her goofy five-year-old daughter and the many adventures they have together.

Her fiancé is kind enough to entertain her whimsical, artistic ways and supports whatever crazy idea she comes up with next.

When she isn't writing, drawing, singing or acting, her favorite ways to pass the time involve anything that her family and pets are included in.

She hopes you and your children enjoy Mingo as much as she and her daughter does.
