ZORICA PURLIJA BIO
Born in Montenegro 1964,immigrated to Australia with family in 1973,settling in Newcastle, NSW. Began a Bachelor of Architecture Degree in Newcastle in 1983-1985.Withdrew to pursue career in Graphic Design.
1989 Associate Diploma in Visual Arts at the Nepean College of Advanced Education with Major in Design and Photography, teachers Robyn Stacey and
Dennis Del Favero.
1987- 1991 worked in various Design Agencies, including freelance illustration and Photography.
1991 travelled through Europe, living and working in London for 18 months. September 1992 returned to Australia settling in Sydney. July 1993 gave birth to first child and devoted life to full time mothering.
1999 to present began pursuing career as an Artist using Photography as medium.
2003: Short Course in Photography: 2 with Ella Dreyfus, National Art School, Sydney.
2007 Represented by Sara Roney Gallery Sydney.
2020 Masters of Art in Photo media UNSW School of Art and Design.
