About the Book
Lord Howe Island is an ancient volcanic island somewhere between the east coast of Australia and New Zealand. It's isolation has led to an unique biotope containing flora and fauna only existent on this island. There's a population of only 350 and a capped number of tourists of only 400 at any time. Next to amazing coral beaches where turtles swim around you there are two mountains, rising up to 850m above sea level on a footprint of only 1km. The climb is something you will never forget as is anything on this island. This book is a collection of mostly black and white photographs documenting what we experienced during only one week of holiday there.
