About the Book
Every Wednesday on my way to work I stop by the Heart of the City Farmers' Market in the Civic Center in San Francisco, CA and get flowers.
I always think of my grandmother, Abue, who always loves having fresh flowers in the house. I figured, I can bring her closer to me with every flower I buy each week.
As I get to work, I open the big window in my office and take a few minutes to admire and photograph these flowers. A way for me, I believe, to keep them fresh long after they are gone.
