Find out what it is like to be a child growing up in Haiti…a gorgeous tropical island where the poverty level is at 80% and most families have no medical care available to them. Beautiful, fine art photos and portraits by photographer, Todd Pierson, combine with facts and stories that Meghan Cahill gathered during a trip to the mountain villas above Jeremie on the southern peninsula of Haiti. Meghan and Todd donated their services so all profits from the sale of the book go directly to the organization NEW LIFE FOR HAITI.
NEW LIFE FOR HAITI is a grass roots partnership of Christians and churches coming together to make life better and reduce hardship in the villages of the Grande Anse River Valley, a rural area in the southern peninsula of Haiti. Work has already started on a secondary school and plans for a medical clinic are in the works. NEW LIFE FOR HAITI is building long term relationships with the Haitian churches, schools and village officials so they can work together on projects.
